Howdy South Central Indiana! They call me “Big Rick”, although some day I’m not “that big” in person. But I do have a BIG heart, and I’ve fell in love with Columbus & South Central Indiana!
I’m the father of 5 beautiful and crazy kids. I’m a native Hoosier, who grew up on a corn farm outside of Evansville Indiana. I love the Colts, I’m a diehard IU fan, and wear my Hoosier pride, on my sleeve.
I’ve been in radio since the age of 15 and absolutely love what I do. I specialize in small market radio, I know how to connect with the audience of small towns, and bring relatable content and thoughts that get people involved. I’m not afraid to emcee a concert at a county fair, or broadcast live from a fish fry or charity event.
I’ve also reached some of the highest levels of country music, having been a CMA and ACM small market personality of the year nominee in 2020.
I have created a national profile, on social media and in the press with viral country artists interviews. I look forward to leading South Central Indiana’s country station, “Indiana Country” 101.5 WKKG!
